Deep learning, also called deep structured learning or hierarchical learning, is part of machine learning. Deep learning, just like machine learning, falls under the heading of Artificial Intelligence. The algorithm behind deep learning is based on pattern recognition. After an endless amount of input, for example photos of a dog, the algorithm learns itself to recognize a dog in the future.

This actually works exactly the same in humans. Our brain is fed with data from the outside world through our eye or hearing. Our brain cells then convert these signals into images and sounds. The structure in our brain that ensures this is also called a neural network. And this is exactly what deep learning is based on.

The 5MP camera from Uniview is the latest and the best in its class, and therefore definitely recommended. There is a microphone built into this model, so you can record images and sound. The camera is fully weatherproof according to IP67.

The camera also has a 'LightHunter' solution for the dark. It has IR lighting, so that everything is visible up to 30 meters at night. The smart IR function ensures that if an object gets closer to the camera it will not be overexposed by the IR, so that the objects remain clearly visible.

This model is also the first in its class to be equipped with 'Light-Hunter' technology. This produces beautiful images in the dark, because it needs very little light to illuminate everything nicely. The camera has digital defog, so if it is foggy outside, the camera will reproduce the lost details and you can therefore see everything well with fog outside. The camera is also equipped with a WDR function, which provides a clear image with many details when confronted with a strong light, WDR prevents dark or overexposed images, and maintains good image quality.

The camera can be powered by means of PoE or by means of a 12v DC adapter. The camera also supports Ultra H.265. H.265 offers the same image quality as H.264 at half the file size.
