The DDF5450HD camera series was especially designed for applications that require very high-resolution recordings in real time. The camera is offered with an integrated lens in a vandal-proof dome housing. It can be operated conventionally with an external power supply or comfortably with Power over Ethernet.

Ultra HD resolution
The high resolution of the sensor and the sophisticated image processing enable real-time recordings with UHD resolution and a frame rate of up to 25/30 fps (2160p / 30) in excellent quality . This makes the camera ideal when it is necessary to capture the finest details in real time.

H.265 support
The cameras are equipped with encoder technology that supports coding the video stream according to the H.265 standard. This allows a reduction of the data rate by up to 50% compared to H.264 with the same resolution and image quality. In conjunction with the latest Dallmeier recording systems, a significant reduction in network and memory utilization can be achieved.

Motor-driven varifocal lens with P-Iris
The camera has a motor-driven varifocal lens that is perfectly matched to the image sensor. The zoom, focus and aperture can be easily set using a web browser. Manual lens adjustment directly at the installation location of the camera is not necessary.

Digital image shift
The function Digital Image Shift allows a comfortable fine adjustment of the captured image section via a web browser and thus supports an uncomplicated installation of the camera. Depending on the selected resolution, the area used on the image sensor can be moved and adapted to the conditions on site. Manual fine alignment of the camera directly at the installation site is not necessary.

Video content analysis
The integrated video content analysis (VCA) recognizes movements and objects in the uncompressed image and analyzes them in real time (depending on the analysis resolution) with sophisticated analysis functions such as intrusion detection or line crossing. The detected events can be used to trigger the recording of a SMAVIA recording system. Together with the recognized objects and the corresponding metadata, they are stored in a database. This enables the targeted search and evaluation of the recordings by SMAVIA Viewing Client with the SmartFinder function.

AI support
The cameras are equipped with an encoder technology that enables video content analysis with the support of AI (Artificial Intelligence) functions based on neural networks in the camera. As a result, a significantly more powerful object classification is available. After a short training phase, the system ultimately allows even more targeted evaluation of the recordings and more effective use of automatic functions such as lossless and multiple auto-tracking.

EdgeStorage
The camera is equipped with a RAM memory, which is used by the EdgeStorage function for storing the video stream in the event of a network failure (e.g. spanning tree, bursts). When the network is restored, the SmartBackfill function ensures fast transmission to the SMAVIA recording system. This saves the video stream at high speed and then continues to record the live stream seamlessly.
